The toy community is invited to submit their candidates for both the inaugural Alan G. Hassenfeld Humanitarian Award and the 2027 Toy Industry Hall of Fame by Friday, June 26. Additional information is provided below:
Alan G. Hassenfeld Humanitarian Award
- The Alan G. Hassenfeld Humanitarian Award honors individuals or organizations that embody the late Alan Hassenfeld’s legacy of compassion, generosity, and unwavering commitment to children. The award recognizes those whose leadership is grounded in humanitarianism, philanthropy, and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of play.

2027 Toy Industry Hall of Fame
- The Toy Industry Hall of Fame recognizes visionary leaders, innovators, and industry pioneers whose careers have left a lasting mark on the toy community.
- If a Hall of Fame candidate nominated in 2026 was not selected, their nomination will automatically carry forward for one additional year and does not need to be resubmitted. Click here to view the candidates automatically carried over for 2026.

The recipient of the Alan G. Hassenfeld Humanitarian Award, as well as the inductees in the 2027 Toy Industry Hall of Fame, will be announced later this year and honored at the Toy of the Year® (TOTY®) Awards, taking place February 19, 2027 at Pier Sixty in New York City.
